For those that don't know.
The QC is Davenport and Bettendorf Iowa coupled to Rock Island and Moline Illinois.
And plenty of little burgs along the way.
The QC claim to fame is being the home of John Deere's world HQ, the invention of sliced bread and having the largest "Roller" Dam in the world. So..
Why would I be excited about Uber?
Well, there is no real organized taxi service here. It's pretty much a bunch of mini vans run by Larry, Darryl and the other Darryl or scummy wrecks that I wouldn't put my Ex in for a trip to the Levy.
This could be an amazing market for Uber to own from the get-go.
Though, I'm a Chicago transplant and not "Native" to Iowa. I might be talking out of my arse.
